The new MEDICATION ACCESS AND TRAINING EXPANSION (MATE) ACT went into effect June 2023. This new law requires medical and dental prescribers to accomplish 8 CE hours on treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders for all new or renewing DEA licenses, with some limited exceptions. This is a one-time CE requirement.
If you have completed CE for your state license, it counts! You may only need 5-6 hours more. Choose 2 classes below to make up for the missing hours. But if you need 8 hours, these 3 classes combined equal 8 CE.
On-demand streaming allows you to view the class as many times as you like for the next year.
