Personal Statement    General Dentist with thirty years clinical experience including complex restorative cases, Cad/Cam restorations, Straight Wire and Aligner Orthodontics, Implant Placement and Bone Manipulation and Grafting.  I also have fifteen years of Dental Education as a Mentor/Clinical Instructor and lecturer as well as advanced business skills following obtaining an M.B.A. from a top-ten business school.  I have great passions for dentistry, education, travel and snow skiing.

Professional History

David A. Wright, DDS, PC  (1988-present) Experienced in start-up practices, purchasing practices and selling practices; this business had grown to a multiple location small group practice but is now back to a solo practice.  Owner, President, from 1988 until the present.  All phases of GP dentistry as well as orthodontics and implant preparation and placement.  Oral sedation and complex cases completed routinely.  Cosmetic orientation in all phases of the clinical practice.

Mentor (“Clinical Professor”)  Dr. Gordon Christensen’s Practical Clinical Courses (2000-present) Assisted Dr. Christensen in his hands-on courses, including some lecturing and video participation.  Participated in virtually all of the courses, including restorative and occlusion courses, as well as oral surgery, perio surgery and implant surgery courses.  Assisted Dr. Christensen in planning and vision for PCC.

Project Director & Clinical Evaluator, Clinicians Report Foundation (formerly CRA) (1997-present) Participated in evaluating products and techniques for non-profit CR/CRA.  Was also involved in multiple clinical studies of Bridges, Composites and Crowns over the past twelve years.

F.A.G.D.  Received the Fellowship in the AGD July of 1995

A.F.A.A.I.D. Successfully passed the written examination for Fellowship in the AAID in June of 2016 and accrued the total necessary credits toward Fellowship; will complete the Fellowship process within the next 1.5 years
