CE for your DEA license

The new federal law entitled, MEDICATION ACCESS AND TRAINING EXPANSION (MATE) ACT, went into effect June 27, 2023. This law requires medical and dental prescribers to accomplish 8 CE hours on treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders for all new or renewing DEA licenses, with some limited exceptions. This is a one-time CE requirement.
